Delete your account

You can delete your Keep or Cut account and its data at any time. There are two ways.

1. In the app (fastest)

Open Keep or Cut and make sure you're signed in.
Tap the 📊 stats icon in the top bar.
Tap Delete account at the bottom, then tap again to confirm.

Deletion happens immediately. There is no waiting period and no recovery.

2. By email

If you can't reach the app — you've uninstalled it, or you can no longer sign in — email easthillsbayarea@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my account".

We'll delete it and confirm by reply, normally within 7 days and always within 30.

What gets deleted

Your email address and sign-in identity
Your display name
Your saved games, streaks, stats, and head-to-head record
Your device identifier and analytics events tied to it

What stays, and why

If you played a live 1v1 against someone else, that match still exists in their history — otherwise deleting your account would silently corrupt another player's record. Your name is stripped from it and it shows as "(deleted)". Nothing in it identifies you.

We may also retain records we're legally required to keep, such as basic transaction records if you ever make a purchase.

Playing without an account

Signing in is optional — Keep or Cut is fully playable signed-out. If you delete your account you can keep playing; your progress simply lives on your device instead of syncing across them.
