These terms cover Keep or Cut — the website at keeporcutsports.com and the Keep or Cut mobile apps (together, the “Game”). By playing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Game.
A football opinion game. You're shown players one card at a time and you decide to keep or cut each one, then your keeps are scored against your cuts using each player's best statistical fantasy season. You can also play head-to-head against a friend or a random opponent.
Keep or Cut is an independent game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or licensed by the National Football League, the NFL Players Association, any NFL club, any college, or any player. All team names, player names, and league names are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to identify real athletes and their publicly reported statistics — a factual, descriptive use.
The Game contains no team logos, no uniforms, and no player photographs.
Player values are computed by us from publicly available season statistics using a single published formula (PPR scoring with 4-point passing touchdowns; team defense values are estimated and marked with a “~”). We work hard to get these right and verify them against multiple sources, but we don't guarantee that every number is free of error. The Game is for entertainment. It is not betting advice, and it is not a fantasy-sports contest for money.
You can play without an account. If you create one, you're responsible for the activity under it. Provide a real email you control so you can sign back in. You may delete your account and data at any time from 📊 Stats → Delete account, or at the deletion page.
The name you choose is shown to opponents (as your first name plus a last initial). Don't use a name that impersonates someone else, contains slurs or harassment, or that you don't have the right to use. In head-to-head matches you may send short pre-written messages; you cannot send free-form text. We may remove a name or restrict an account that violates these terms.
Pro is a one-time $2.99 purchase — not a subscription, and it does not renew. It unlocks all 32 franchise duel decks and removes ads. Purchases made in the mobile apps are processed by Google Play or Apple; purchases on the web are processed by Stripe. We never see your card details.
Refunds are handled by whoever processed the payment: Google Play, Apple, or Stripe, under their respective policies. Pro is tied to your account, so you can restore it on another device by signing in with the same account and choosing “Restore purchase.”
Please don't attempt to cheat matchmaking, automate play, tamper with scoring, reverse-engineer or overload the service, or use the Game to harass another player. We may suspend accounts that do.
The Game is provided “as is.” We may change, pause, or discontinue features — the player pools and scoring in particular are updated regularly. We don't promise the service will always be available or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Keep or Cut and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or $5.00. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they may not apply to you.
The Game is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle data.
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top. Your continued play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
